Alternatives to Adsense

-
lj

Google Adsense is the number one PPC advertising program but there are some Adsense alternatives worth looking into. Adsense's biggest threat comes from Yahoo through its Publisher Network program. Both serve contextual ads that are highly targeted to get the best CTR. However, Yahoo's Publisher Network has just come out of beta, while Google Adsense has been going strong for years. Different other companies decided to offer targeted ads for web masters and publishers.

Here are a few Adsense alternatives, which, just like Google's program, aim to monetize your website and help you win some nice cash: AffiliateText, ContextAd, Proogle, Adhearus, InfoGrabber, Bidvertiser, DynamiContext, AdBrite, BidClix, Veoda, Chitika, Findit-Quick and clixGalore. Some of these programs are brand new, some have been in the targeted ads business for quite a while now.
Although they do not enjoy the popularity that Google's money maker machine has, they are still some good alternatives to Adsense. Such programs are the perfect choice for anyone trying to make money online, from work at home moms to freelancers and web publishers.

A few other Google Adsense alternatives

AffiliateSensor offers the text links that are based on ClickBank products. Also offers good CTR and well targeted ads. The ad sizes are the same as Adsense and you can run a good online business with this program, unless you favor one of its competitors.

CBProsense ads - a contextual ads program that is free to join and offers nice targeted ads.

PPC Profit Machine - this is a good Adsense alternative, as it offers two tools in one package. You can add a pay-per-click search box to your site, drawing results directly from the PPC networks and displaying them on your site. You get paid for visitor clicks on such links. The second advantage is that it helps with creating good content for your site. However, many publishers feel there's one reason that makes the PPC Profit Machine one of the best Google Adsense alternatives - you can place ads on gambling and pharmaceutical websites, a fact that is not possible with Adsense.

As always, it is recommended that you try a few alternatives to Google's Adsense program. You can allow each program to run on your site for a week and compare the results. Also consider other ways to monetize your website, such as using affiliate banners, selling your own merchandise or even selling links and ad space if your website has enough visitors. The options are endless and experimenting makes a difference. Good luck!
